Girls Soccer started the MHSAA playoffs against the Eagles of Southfield Christian with an offensive explosion. Clare Walby scored 2 early goals to get the ball rolling for the Ventures. Megan Gleason scored 2 goals increasing her team leading total to 22. Walby and Jillian Kotlar assisted on the goals. Freshman Jenna DeSantis also scored 2 goals her first of the season, both goals were from assists by Senior Annie O'Neil. Rounding out the scoring were Mackenzie Kopf and Sam Ostrowski. Paige Schuster recorded her 5th shut-out of the season in goal. The team next plays on Wednesday, May 31st at 5 PM as they host Madison in the semifinals of the MHSAA Districts.
