Girls Soccer fell to Lamphere 4-1 in non-league play. The Ventures fell behind 2-0 early in the game. Entering the 2nd half the down 2 the Ventures gave up another goal before Mackenzie Kopf split the Ram's defense to make it 3-1. The Rams would tack on another goal for a final score of 4-1. The Ventures honored the seniors at half. The group of 8 seniors included Cassidy Moore, Annie O'Neil, Jenna Landrith, Dana Ballard, Trina Muckle, Jessica Russo, Gale Thompson, and Lauren Thayer. This senior group brought home the CHSL championship trophy for the first time in 14 years. They have set the bar high for their younger teammates and we thank them for all that they have done and will continue to do for Venture Soccer. The team next plays on Tuesday, May 30th at 5:30 PM as they host Southfield Christian in the first round of the MHSAA playoffs.
